Definition of Learning Disabilities
A learning disability  is a neurological condition that affects how the brain receives, processes, stores, or communicates information. It is not related to overall intelligence but rather to specific areas of academic performance. Examples include dyslexia (difficulty with reading), dyscalculia (difficulty with math), and dysgraphia (difficulty with writing). People with learning disabilities often need alternative strategies to master skills, but with the right support they can achieve success in school and beyond.
